There are actually three ways to post a web page or site at adrr.com.
First, you can have the service set up a small space for you at http://adrr.com/mediator/_your_directory_/. You can use your name (e.g. John_Tison), your initials (e.g. TAIII) or a short phrase or name (e.g. DRSService) for the name for your sub-directory. There is a yearly fee of $25.00 that is paid directly to the service. They will create your subdirectory and send you your password, etc. to your e-mail account. I am completely left out the loop on this method, except that your page is covered on my monthly charges for the space.
If you want to have an e-mail address at _your_name_@adrr.com (where mail
sent to _your_name@adr.com is redirected to your ISP and email account, e.g.
the mail sent to SMarsh@adrr.com actually goes to Ethesis@aol.com), Mark Porter can also set that up as a part of setting up your account. This
method provides you with up to 1 meg in web space. To start:

Second, if you want more than the basic amount of
space above, you can have the service set up a non-virtual domain account
for you at _your_name_.adrr.com/. (e.g. Texas.adrr.com/). If
you use that method, you can have a virtually unlimited number of subdirectories
(e.g. Texas.adrr.com/JohnSmith, Texas.adrr.com/JaneDoe, etc.). You
pay the service a $25.00 set up fee and then it charges you $19.95 a month
. You have your own password, CGI or FrontPage97 scripts and an extremely
large amount of account space. To join that way:

Third, you can create your own domain name and have your own virtual domain. You can set that up with Zoneit.com or any other hosting service. You also create a page or two that point to your site from adrr.com using the first option above. Hosting services charge between $5.00 and $75.00 a month for basic hosting services and from $50.00 to $500.00 to set up your site. (Zoneit.com charges $15.95, no set-up). Internic also charges $100.00 to register your domain. To create a subdirectory on adrr.com for your pointer

Remember: once you have joined, have your url, your password and have your pages put together and uploaded to the Internet, visit Submit-it to register your pages with the major services (the free registration service is more than most people ever need).
