Mid-height
Low height.

These are Moabs. Quality control went south at the end of Moab 2’s run. The have been a wholly owned subsidiary of Wolverine World Wide since 1997.

They come as a low and a mid and in waterproof and regular versions.

They also have a “vent” version which is extra breathable.

They are not cushioned at all and require “hardening” your feet in order to hike long distances in them.

But they are very stable and have Vibram soles which have the uniform grip of Vibram on rock.

A view on Merrell shoes.

Counterpoint on Merrell decline in quality.

I don’t know how things will go for 2024 or 2025. I’m hopeful and I’m glad I am not currently depending on Merrell.
