As for our planned section on the Pinhoti…well…the weather went wetter and colder than forecast. No desire to hike in wet, through flooding and with snow.
We went to the ALDHA ruck, had a good time, talked with a guy who has done the CDT and had good advice, and are back in Charlottesville.
Then we hike and return home to Dallas in November.
